For Valentines the place to be this Saturday February 12th from 10 am -1 pm is the Columbus Winter Farmers’ Market. Our market is held at the Clintonville Woman’s Club at 3951 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio  43214

Remember lunches are available through the Clintonville Woman’s Club and jolly chef Augie is preparing sloppy joe sandwiches and also alphabet vegetable soup for your dining pleasure.

Sue’s Kitchen with this week’s fare. Red Velvet Heart shaped Whoopie Pies in Valentine gift box, butter cream frosted heart sugar cookies, chocolate drizzled mini heart sugar cookies w/Valentine sprinkles in Valentine gift box, triple chocolate Valentine brownies, cherry pie (mini) to remember Pres. Washington, signature chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin cookies; biker bars and cranberry scones and handmade Valentine cards.

Swisher Creek Farm from Blacklick, Ohio, bringing their alpaca fiber art such as handmade felted purses, mittens and lovely scarves. Also hand-knit alpaca hats and alpaca yarn to knit your own projects to keep you toasty warm on these cold winter days.

Honey Health Farms from Marysville providers of local raw honey, blended honey, bee pollen, home-made soaps, lip & body balm and moisture cream. Are you suffering from chapped skin or lips with the weather try their natural honey product lip balm or body balm to soften those dry cracked areas.

Oh Lather Soap Works of Columbus offering his hand crafted all vegetable oil soaps. He uses base oils of palm, olive and coconut in the production of his soaps.

Cathy’s Tasty Treats with their tastefully delicious herb dips, rubs & seasonings, teas, cappuccinos, jams & jellies, soup mixes, granola, gourmet dog & cat treats & farm/wildlife/pet art stationary.  Feature jam this week is our Cranberry Raspberry Jam great on waffles or pancakes smothered with whipped cream. Also check out our Valentine’s “Be Mine- Love potion for two” mix, “Udderly Delicious Moo Juice” mix both of these are wonderfully great chocolate drink with lots of chocolate bits topped with marshmallows for two or try our “Strawberry Drink mix for two.”

Gluten Free Expressions of Hebron with their gluten free baked goods.

Carousel Watergardens Farm from Marion, Ohio will offer organic free range antibiotic and hormone free frozen turkey sausage, drums, turkey brats.  Be sure to try their wonderful chicken with many ways to choose from whole, cut up, brats, sausage patties, ground, boneless skinless breast, backs, giblets, livers, and wings. They will offer winter produce such as cabbage, sweet potatoes, garlic, radishes, red potatoes, onions, broccoli, limited spinach, spring mix & a few romaine lettuce heads and their delicious farm fresh brown eggs. CWF is offering 10% off this Saturday for customer appreciation on their mesquite boneless skinless chicken breast (limited quantities) and tomato basil patties.  Ask for details about their summer vegetable, egg and meat CSA’s.
