It’s that time of year…the close of the winter farmer’s market season, so join us this Saturday March 19, 2011 from 10 am -1 pm for the last Columbus Winter Farmers’ Market of the season. Our market is held at the Clintonville Woman’s Club at 3951 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio  43214.

Do not fret for we will be back this coming November for the 2011-2012 season so be sure to check our web site at www.columbuswinterfarmersmarket.com for the coming dates and time.

This week we have “Timbre Wolves,” of Columbus, Ohio an acoustic string band playing “old-time” toe tapping music for your listening enjoyment. Check out their website at http://www.timbrewolves.carl-yaffey.com/ .

Browse our market and enjoy our hospitality area while listening to great music. Lunches are available through the Clintonville Woman’s Club and are a reasonable $3.00 with coffee for a $1.00. This Saturday’s lunch must be a surprise for I haven’t heard what Chef Augie is preparing.

Oh Lather Soap Works of Columbus offering his hand crafted all vegetable oil soaps. He uses base oils of palm, olive and coconut in the production of his soaps.

Sue’s Kitchen of Pataskala with her wonderful cookie stacks, mini pies, biker bars, and sweet breads.

Ohio Bison Farm of Grove City, offering their all natural bison meat in a variety of cuts.

Lucky Cat Farm with their artisan breads and muffins.

Cathy’s Tasty Treats with their tastefully delicious herb dips, rubs & seasonings, teas, cappuccinos, jams & jellies, soup mixes, crock-pot cakes, granola, gourmet dog & cat treats & farm/wildlife/pet art stationary.

Gluten Free Expressions of Hebron with their gluten free baked goods.

Carousel Watergardens Farm from Marion, Ohio will offer their naturally raised free range antibiotic and hormone free frozen turkey sausage, drums, turkey brats.  Try their wonderful chicken with many ways to choose from such as whole, cut up, brats, sausage patties, ground, boneless skinless breast, backs, giblets, livers, and wings. They will offer winter produce such as cabbage, sweet potatoes, garlic, radishes, red potatoes, onions, broccoli, limited spinach, spring mix & a few romaine lettuce heads and their delicious farm fresh brown eggs. Ask for details on their summer vegetable, egg and meat CSA’s, and be sure to pick up their summer schedule of the farmers markets they participate in.
